The Forest City School District offers morning or afternoon preschool, four days per week (Monday-Thursday). To attend, students must be 4 years old on/prior to September 15 of the current school year. The Forest City Y operates a daycare for ages 3 and 4 in one wing of our building, providing a convenient childcare solution for families.

- We are ready to enroll 2025-26 preschool students!
The first step is to complete online registration via this link. Please complete this step by April 7, 2025.
The second step is that the district will host a short "all things preschool" meeting for parents/guardians on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5-5:45 p.m. at the Forest City Elementary School (CLICK HERE FOR A PRINTABLE FLYER).
Please note- this meeting is just for parents/guardians. Students will meet their teachers during back-to-school conferences in August.
Preschool classroom assignments and a link to sign up for preschool home visits will be mailed to families at the beginning of July.
