Open Enrollment is the process by which parents/guardians residing in an Iowa district may enroll their children into another Iowa school district under the terms and conditions of Iowa Code section 282.18 and 281--Iowa Administrative Code 17.

The Forest City School District opens online registration on August 1. Back-to-school information and instructions are mailed (postal mail) in late July.
If you are a returning student/family, we utilize our student/parent portal, called Infinite Campus to register students. Online registration is required and very important!

All student-athlete and activity registrations will be conducted exclusively through Bound.
Key Information About the New Registration Process:
Online Registration: All student activity registrations will now be completed online via the Bound platform. This includes submitting necessary forms, medical clearances, and payment of fees. Note: This needs to be done on the web platform, not on the phone app.
User-Friendly Interface: Bound offers a user-friendly interface that allows families to easily navigate through the registration process.
Important Deadlines: To ensure eligibility, all forms must be submitted by these dates. Reminders and other communications will come from Bound directly, so watch for these notifications.
Access to Information: Bound will also provide access to schedules, team communications, and important announcements, making it easier to stay informed throughout the season.
Support and Resources: We understand that transitioning to a new system may raise questions. The team at Bound is available to answer any questions and provide assistance throughout the registration process; click the green chat bubble on the Bound website to be connected with them.

Create a Bound account. If you have purchased tickets via Bound in the past, you already have an account. Please login with this account.
Follow the steps listed on this flyer to register for each activity the student will be participating in. If you need assistance, simply click the green chat bubble on the Bound website.
