At Forest City Community School District, we believe that strong schools build strong communities—and that success in education is a shared responsibility. Our Partners in Education bring together local businesses, organizations, and individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.
These valued partners provide support in many forms—volunteer time, resources, expertise, and financial contributions—all of which enhance educational opportunities and enrich the student experience. Whether through mentorship programs, sponsorship of school events, career exploration opportunities, or classroom resources, our partners help create real-world connections that inspire learning and growth.
We are grateful for the commitment of our Partners in Education and recognize the vital role they play in helping us achieve our mission.
Juniors and seniors can earn college credits, right here in Forest City!
We partner with NIACC for many programs, offering students the opportunity to earn college credits. The John V. Hanson Career Center, a NIACC regional education center in Forest City, offers four different academies: Advanced Manufacturing, Construction Trades, Information Technology, and Health Careers. Students will earn college credit by enrolling in classes at the Career Center.
The collegiate-level Beebe Track, the synthetic surface fields, and the Boman Fine Arts Center were made possible via innovative shared services agreements between the district, Waldorf University and the City of Forest City.
Forest City is an amazing community and this site has a wealth of information whether you are looking to relocate here, or if you are a current community member!
