Re: Extended School Day
Dear Forest City Families:
Due to the number of ‘snow days’ accumulated to this date, the Forest City Community School District will be extending the school day by thirty minutes beginning Monday, February 8, 2010. The school day at the Middle School and High School will now run from 8:20 A.M. and will dismiss at 3:32 P.M. By extending the school day, the district will be able to make-up six of the seven days lost due to weather.
In order to make-up the seventh lost day, Monday, April 5, 2010 will now become a normal student school day. Please make certain to make this revision.
Also, please be aware that the remaining three Wednesday ‘Early Outs’ will continue to be 2:00 P.M. dismissals at the Middle School and High School. The dates of the remaining Wednesday Early Outs are:
