The PLAN (Pre-ACT) test is an optional test offered to our sophomore class, and we will be administering it in a couple of weeks.  The test measures reading skills, math problem-solving skills, English skills, and science skills.  It is good preparation for taking the ACT exam, which is a requirement for admissions to many 4-year colleges in the Midwest.

The test will be given on Wednesday, December 10, 2014,  from 8:20 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the high school IMC.

By taking the PLAN test, students practice for the ACT, identify areas where they need extra help or additional coursework in high school, and learn about career areas that match their interests.

Calculators will be permitted this year as long as they are silent, non-programmable, and do not have a paper print-out.

The deadline to sign up and pay for this test is Friday, December 6th,  in the Guidance Office.  The cost of taking this test is $12.95 and must be paid in advance.  Checks should be made out to Forest City High School.
