Special Meeting


January 23, 2018

 

 

The Board of Directors of the Forest City Community School District met for a special meeting on January 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the District Office. 

 

After a quorum was established the meeting was called to order by the president, Bruce Mielke.                    

 

Members present:  Pat Hobbs, Cindy Carter, Bruce Mielke, Dave Bartlett, Keila Buffington, and Jesse Olson.  Members absent: Eric Kingland. Jesse Olson attended via phone as it was inconvenient to do so otherwise.

 

Cindy Carter moved to approve the agenda.  Pat Hobbs seconded the motion.  Ayes: six. Nays: none. Carried.

 

After reviewing the construction bids for the elementary loading dock, Keila Buffington moved to approve the bid submitted by Kingland Construction in the amount of $113,000.00 being the lowest bid.  Cindy Carter seconded the motion.   Ayes: six. Nays: none. Carried.

 

Sup’t Lehmann presented and reviewed with the board the completed Facility Assessment as prepared by ISG.

 

Cindy Carter moved to adjourn the meeting. Dave Bartlett seconded the motion.  Ayes: six.  Nays: none.  Carried.

 

The meeting adjourned at 11:17 a.m.
