Special Reorganized Board Meeting - March 25, 2013

 

The Board of Directors of the Forest City Community School District met for a special reorganized board meeting on March 25, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the District Office

 

After a quorum was established the meeting was called to order by the president, Dave Bartlett.                   

 

Members present: Dave Bartlett, Cindy Carter, Pat Hobbs, Gary Ludwig, Eric Kingland,  Keila Buffington, Bruce Mielke.  Members absent: none. 

 

Cindy Carter moved to approve the agenda.  Keila Buffington seconded the motion.  Ayes: seven.  Nayes: none.  Carried.

 

Sup’t Lehmann and Secretary Rollefson reviewed the tentative agreement & contracts for the Certified Staff for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years.  After discussion, Bruce Mielke moved to approve the contracts as presented.  Pat Hobbs seconded the motion.  Ayes: seven.  Nayes: none.  Carried.

 

Sup’t Lehmann and Secretary Rollefson reviewed the contracts for the Non-Certified Staff and Administration for the 2013-2014 school year.  After discussion, Gary Ludwig moved to approve the contracts as presented.  Cindy Carter seconded the motion.  Ayes: seven.  Nayes: none.  Carried.

 

Sup’t Lehmann discussed the Forest City Police Department/ Winnebago County Sheriffs Department/Forest City Community School District Policing Initiative.

 

Sup’t Lehmann reviewed the following consent agenda item: personnel.  After discussion, Gary Ludwig moved to approve the following contract contingent upon Department of Education Certification.  Keila Buffington seconded the motion.  Ayes: six.  Nays: none.  Carried.

Cindy Carter moved to adjourn.  Eric Kingland seconded the motion.  Ayes: seven.  Nayes: none. 

 

The meeting adjourned at 12:35 P.M.
